Ukaji Soba (Shuri Ukaji) Restaurant

Ryutan Pond area

A shop in Tonokura that transforms through the day: an Okinawa soba shop called "Ukaji Soba" by day, and a Japanese restaurant called "Shuri Ukaji" by night. Its light, bonito-fragrant dashi, drawing on washoku (traditional Japanese) technique, is well regarded, and soba fans often name it as the shop to pick "by the dashi." The daytime soba closes as soon as it sells out. Within walking distance of Shuri Castle, it's also a rare find for having its own parking lot (4 spaces).
